Our Mission: CHOP seeks to be a national and international leader in the collection, processing, and analysis of biosamples for the purpose of cutting-edge research with a biobanking resource that simultaneously empowers individual investigators to develop novel biobanking efforts to support particular research efforts and positions the institution as a source of an increasingly comprehensive, institutionally supported centralized repository of samples.
Our Goal: Establish a premier biobank with a well-defined and targeted set of biospecimens and supporting services. Enable support for both ongoing research and future studies that employ new and emerging technologies. Provide the highest quality biomaterials, specimen services, technical consultation and logistical support.
Our Vision: To become a world-class collaborative pediatric biobank.
